Paean hails from the Asia's Latin City, Zamboanga City before heading to Dumaguete City in 2018. He is currently enrolled in Silliman University College of Education taking up Bachelor of Secondary Social Science Education. Previously, he was one of the two Representatives of the College of Education to the Silliman University Student Assembly. Currently, he is the Chairperson of the Silliman University Teacher Education Student Council, President of the Silliman University League of Practice Teacher. He is also the Vice President for Campus of the Silliman University Christian Youth Fellowship, and President of the Pastors' Kids. In 2019, he also served as the Treasurer of the college council. He is a consistent honor student.

Aside from his academic background, Paean is also the President of the Christian Youth Fellowship in the entire Southern Zamboanga since 2018, authored phenomenological research studies on governance, public administration, policies, and societal issues.

 

He has been an active member of the United Church of Christ in the Philippines (UCCP) and passionate into community outreaches and ecumenical work. He advocates for social justice, gender sensitivity, quality and affordable education, and many more.
